Gerardo has been focused for many years on the developing of learning methodologies and the training of people, groups and organizations so that they can unleash the full potential of development and greatness we all have.

He is a passionate believer and follower of the positive approach. (“Build what’s strong” instead of fix what´s wrong…)

He has served as a teacher, consultant, speaker, coach and trainer in different countries, mainly in Latin America and Europe. He has designed and implemented processes of change of culture in organizations of diverse sizes, particularly in large and complex multicultural companies.

Of Mexican-German citizenship, and currently based in Spain, Gerardo has worked for years with companies that integrate people from different nationalities and cultures.

He uses and combines in his life and work the contributions of what he has learned and discovered as important over the years and from the degrees he has achieved in Civil Engineering, Psychology, Philosophy and Spirituality.

Last book you read…
"The Happiness Advantage, the seven principles that fuel success and performance at work” written by Shawn Achor. Great book. It is certainly a “must read” for trainers and consultants.

Your heroes include…
Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King. Our world needs more leaders like them that show us how it is possible to live and serve from greatness.

Favourite line from a film…
"The one who saves a life, saves all humanity.” It is a phrase from one of my favourite films, Schindler’s List. (Although it is actually a phrase taken from the Quran).

Best day at work (so far)…
Following the effort and passion invested in facilitating a seminar or course, and people learn something that can really make a difference in their lives.

Who make you laugh…
My wife Belen, who laughs constantly and easily; my son Gonzalo (15) and my daughter Sofía (11) who constantly remind me that life is wonderful and worth living.

Last journey you took…
Last week with my loyal dog, Max, a white golden retriever, to “el Castañar”; a beautiful chestnut trees wood near Madrid.

What’s on your desk…
My computer, a couple of books and some pictures that inspire me reminding me of my loved ones.

How do you deal with stress…
I try to run every day in the woods near home. The contact with nature, the moist earth, the silence. Some meditation when I get disciplined and a little Chi-Kung to keep the balance.

3 people you’d like to have dinner with (dead or alive)…
My father, who died twenty years ago. I would gladly receive advice from him on how to educate my children. Jesus of Nazareth (a long, long dinner) and Donald Trump; I would like to confront him about his way of dealing with power.

Favourite place…
Anywhere where I can see the sea from the top of the high cliffs, the northern coast of Spain for example.
