Applications Open: Butterfly Fund Leadership & Capacity-Building Grant 2026

At Sladen Consulting, we believe that when people thrive, organisations thrive. And when organisations thrive, they create positive change in the world around them. The Butterfly Fund is one of the ways we put that belief into practice.
Each year, we dedicate a portion of our profits, time and expertise to supporting organisations that are creating meaningful impact in the world. Rather than providing financial grants, we offer something different: access to leadership, team and organisational development support designed to help purpose-driven organisations strengthen their capacity and amplify their impact.
Today, we are delighted to open applications for the 2026 Butterfly Fund Leadership & Capacity-Building Grant.
The Butterfly Fund is Sladen Consulting's sustainability initiative. Inspired by the idea that small actions can create far-reaching ripple effects, the fund exists to support organisations whose work contributes to a healthier, more sustainable future.
This year's call for proposals is focused on organisations advancing United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
We are inviting registered charities and nonprofit organisations from anywhere in the world to apply.
Selected organisations will receive a tailored programme of leadership and organisational development support delivered by experienced Sladen consultants, facilitators and coaches.
Support may include:
-Leadership coaching
-Team effectiveness workshops
-Strategic alignment sessions
-Leadership development journeys
-Organisational development advisory support
Each programme will be designed collaboratively based on the organisation's needs, ambitions and context.
Many organisations doing extraordinary work face familiar challenges:
We know from experience that strengthening leadership and organisational capability can create lasting benefits that extend far beyond any individual project.
Our aim is to help organisations create the conditions for sustainable impact.
Applications are open to registered charities and nonprofit organisations whose work contributes to health and well-being and aligns with UN SDG 3.
Organisations of any size and from any geography are welcome to apply.
We are particularly interested in hearing from organisations that are ready to invest time and energy into leadership and organisational development, and can demonstrate how additional support could help them achieve even greater impact.
Applications open: 16 June 2026
Applications close: 7 July 2026
Shortlisted organisations will be invited to a conversation with the Butterfly Fund Committee before final selections are made.
Successful organisations will be announced in July, with support commencing from August onwards.
The Butterfly Fund is built on a simple belief: when we invest in people, leadership and organisations, the impact extends far beyond the individuals directly involved.
If your organisation is creating positive change in the world and would benefit from leadership or organisational development support, we would love to hear from you.
Together, we can create ripples that reach further than any of us could achieve alone.
