The Humans Behind Sladen - a regular series exploring the people, thinking and perspectives behind the work we do with clients.
We’re lucky to work with brilliant people across the Sladen network, it’s a diverse group but we all share one thing in common – a focus on enhancing performance by strengthening the human conditions behind it.
Today, we’re shining a light on Carolle, who believes that stories shape far more than we realise: Carolle is particularly curious about the unconscious dynamics of human behaviour - and the stories people tell themselves, and each other. As she puts it:
“I believe humans evolve by telling each other stories. When a story is told, the same areas of the storyteller’s and listener’s brain ignite – and that’s felt in the heart. This powerful connection creates empathy.”
Carolle sees change not simply as a process, but as something deeply human - influenced by narratives that drive us. Understanding them is key to ensure change truly sticks.
Working across organisational change and communications, Carolle combines pragmatic best-practice change & communications approaches with interventions grounded in organisational psychology - helping clients create change that is not only effective, but sustainable.
At the heart of her work is a belief that resilient, agile organisations are built when human agency is prioritised.
Thank you, Carolle, for bringing such depth, curiosity and humanity to the work that you do.
