The Humans Behind Sladen - a regular series exploring the people, thinking and perspectives behind the work we do with clients.
Some people have a rare ability to make others feel instantly calmer, more grounded and more connected - especially in environments shaped by pressure and constant change. Silke is one of those people.
Deeply intuitive and genuinely people-focused, she brings a warmth and emotional awareness that helps others feel seen, understood and able to reconnect with themselves and those around them. Human connection sits at the very heart of her work.
Silke works with leaders and teams navigating complexity across international and multicultural environments, helping people reconnect not just with each other - but with themselves.
She’s especially passionate about the link between stress, performance and human behaviour. The patterns she notices are often the ones hiding beneath the surface: talented people operating under pressure for so long that creativity narrows, alignment weakens and decisions become harder.
Rather than adding more theory or “thinking”, Silke focuses on grounding people through presence, emotional connection and embodied awareness - helping teams create the clarity, energy and courage needed to move forward together.
A self-confessed “holistic psychology, embodiment science and yoga nerd”, Silke brings a refreshingly human lens to leadership and performance - one rooted in the belief that sustainable performance starts with understanding the whole person, not just the role they perform at work.
Living between two continents with her Indonesian-German family, Silke brings warmth, openness and a beautifully global perspective to everything she does - she is an integral and much loved member of our team.
